The term “e-design” is popping up all over the place. Most of us have heard the word, but few people know what it really means. What does e-design entail? How does it work? Well, who better to answer your questions than Vavaroom, an e-design service itself?!
We can’t speak for every e-design service, but we can give you the run down of what e-design looks like for Vavaroom clients. Keep reading for the play by play.
What is e-design?
The “e” in e-design stands for electronic. That means it is a virtual service that offers interior design 100% through digital means. No more waiting weeks for an appointment with an interior designer, no more time wasted in furniture store after furniture store hunting down the right items, no more inconvenient house visits. It’s safe to say that electronic route is taking the stress out of the interior design process. In addition, it allows the process to go much faster!
How does it work?
I know what you’re thinking, how can someone possibly design my room without seeing it? That’s where you come in. Once you’ve created an account, which you can do by clicking here, you’ll answer a questionnaire. This is your opportunity to tell us about your space by uploading images and measurements of your room. Finally, you’ll tell us about your taste, budget, and preferences over Skype, FaceTime, or email. The rest is smooth sailing! We’ll select the furniture that fits your style and budget, create a lifelike rendering of your newly designed space, and send you a shopping list so you can have your products sent directly to you. You’ll get to see exactly what your new space will look like in the rendering, so you can rest assured that we nailed your style!
Vavaroom Design and Lifelike Rendering
How long does the process take?
Once you have completed the questionnaire and spoken with your personal interior designer, it will only take a maximum of 10 days for you to receive your rendering and shopping list. The final step is easy, you just buy the furniture (did I mention we carry impeccable designer furniture brands?), and wait for it to arrive!
